In 2005 he founded Stephens Francis Whitson, an agency that grew to be one of London’s most respected and awarded agencies. After selling to VCCP Chris took a Group role at WPP as strategic lead on Team News (a cross agency unit set up to manage the News UK business) overseeing the strategic output of Grey, Wunderman and Mindshare. He has helped launch new propositions and products aimed at the millennial audience for Channel 4 and News UK and has extensive experience on drinks brands.

Head of TechnologyGav manages the MRM Meteorite web-development team, promoting process, training and best practice to ensure high-quality, accessible websites. He has worked on large web builds in many sectors, ranging from FMCG to financial services. He has also worked with the RNIB to produce award-winning, accessible websites for RBS and the UK Government’s National Assessment Agency website.
CFOIan started his career at KPMG in 1988 and in 1990 left to help establish music label Virgin Classics. He joined Ogilvy as Finance Director of their business-to-business agency in 1992, becoming a director of the Ogilvy Group in 1995. In 1997 he was made Finance Director of Ammirati Puris Lintas (APL), part of IPG and at the time a top-five London agency. In 2000, Ian joined the nascent Zentropy Partners as Finance and Operations Director, becoming CFO in the UK of MRM Worldwide in 2005.

Global Client LeadKarim has over 16 years’ experience, running numerous award winning global digital departments and agencies. Having come from a development background, large technical builds are a particular focus as are Brand Relationship Marketing, Mobile, Social Media, Innovation and Digital Strategy for clients such as Microsoft, IBM, Shell and General Motors. He is currently Global Client Lead on international, technical accounts and responsible for ensuring that the right solutions are delivered. Though very much client facing, Karim is also an experienced backend developer with a Prince II practitioner certification. Google once named Karim and his team the ones to talk to about digital in their sector, and Microsoft has said that their solutions were “genius.”

Creative Technology DirectorMatt has over 19 years’ experience in the industry spanning both Creative and Technical disciplines. He began his career working on award winning interactive and flash websites at Zentropy Partners for FMCG clients like Unilever and Nestle. He went on to lead the digital creative output for Microsoft and MSN in the UK for MRM Partners. As Creative Director at MRM Worldwide he took over a departmental lead role overseeing campaigns for Intel and Metlife amongst others. Matt’s move to Creative Technology Director has seen him lead the charge in new technology adoption, winning numerous awards for the Intel Ben Saunders WebGL project.
Managing PartnerMatt entered the agency world as a placement student, working on some of the biggest direct marketing accounts in the UK. As his career developed he moved into more integrated roles at Rapier and VCCPme and Ogilvy, managing brand, direct and digital programmes for many financial services, automotive and service brands. The work he has managed has picked up a multitude of awards for both creativity and effectiveness. Matt also contributes to industry bodies, he’s Vice Chair of the DMA awards and a member of the IPA Customer Engagement Group.

Not just because this makes her the first female and creative chair of a UK marketing agency, but because of the outstanding work the agency produces. To Nicky insight is all and she is huge champion of the customer, and the direct discipline. She has judged and chaired almost every major award show and has picked up quite a few shiny things too. Nicky was previously Chief Creative Officer of LIDA, helping the agency to win hundreds of awards and taking them to Campaign’s Agency of the Year twice, and runners-up three times, during her 5-year creative leadership.

Joint CEO & Chief Client OfficerOlly has over 20 years’ experience in delivering integrated and digital communication campaigns to some of the world’s leading brands. His career has spanned ‘big data’ with the global marketing services providers such as Acxiom and Experian, a stint client side at American Express and working across a variety of clients agency side. He cut his teeth at MRM on L’Oréal and General Motors and later spent five years as leader of the award-winning UK Microsoft engagement. He has driven the expansion of the agency’s Data and Digital capabilities and held the role of regional lead for the McCann Worldgroup Nortel and Kraft pan-European digital engagements.
Managing PartnerRichard has worked in a variety of client and agency roles during his career. He has worked in ATL and retail roles as well as CRM and digital so has a great understanding of the marketing mix and how to deliver campaigns that truly work. He has strong commercial acumen. He joined MRM from Vauxhall where he was the client leading their CRM and digital teams.
Planning PartnerTom has spent 15 years working in Strategic Planning. A background in analytics and data planning has allowed Tom to seamlessly move into relationship marketing, loyalty and data driven experience design. His ambidextrous mind allows him to effortlessly oversee the breadth of disciplines within our Planning Department. Driven by finding truths in consumer behaviour and identifying business and brand opportunities Tom has a track record of implementing (not just talking about) award winning engagement strategies that create real and demonstrable value for customers and clients. His experience stretches across sectors and clients including Volkswagen, Costa, Kellogg’s, Marriott Hotels and Homebase.
